The John Paul II Foundation helped launch a Social Secretariat for the benefit of the Apostolic Vicariate of Beirut of the Latins, with the aim of coordinating the 278 educational institutions and 59 charitable institutions in Lebanon, in order to map more clearly the social, economic, educational and training needs of Christian families experiencing severe socio-economic hardship.
