Milk and Medicine Emergency in Lebanon

The John Paul II Foundation and the Focolare Movement - Italy welcome the appeal of the Apostolic Vicariate of Beirut of the Latins and of the Vatican Apostolic Nunciature in Lebanon.

An economic and health situation that has led the entire country into a very deep crisis from which it is difficult to rise again and which only aid from abroad can alleviate. The Foundation, in this regard, is dedicating a fundraiser to the purchase of powdered milk to provide continued support to Cedar Country.

The project will also send from Italy life-saving medicines that are essential to enable the most vulnerable people to be treated and continue to comply with their treatment.

Meanwhile, with the contribution of UNICOOP FLORENCE, an initial donation of powdered milk, an essential food for the weakest segment of the population, has been arranged for the neediest families.

These essential goods will be shipped to Lebanon through an agreement with the Ministry of Defense, which immediately provided its availability.
