"The Wonders of the Nativity" exhibition

At the end of a momentous restoration that lasted nearly a decade, the Basilica of the #Nativity in Bethlehem is once again shining with its original beauty. A symbolic place of humanity returned to the faithful around the world. There is a chance to get up close and personal with the undertaking that has restored the artistic and architectural beauty of the oldest church in Christendom to new life, and it is a major exhibition, a Bethlehem Reborn: The Wonders of the Nativity, which recounts the discoveries of the new archaeological excavations and complex restoration work through the eyes and voices of the pilgrims who have venerated the site of Jesus' birth over the centuries.

The "Bethlehem Reborn" exhibition tells a story that goes beyond the history of politics and art to reveal, through the restoration work of the Church of the Nativity, a due recognition of the exceptional universal value of this Palestinian heritage of humanity.

We invite you to visit it in the Agata and Smeralda rooms of the Museo degli Innocenti, Piazza Santissima Annunziata in Florence from December 3 to 18, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.
