Presentation of the project "Paths of coexistence and peace. Dialogues with schools."

It will be held at the ISTL Russell-Newton Auditorium in Scandicci (FI) on November 12, 2021 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. the presentation of the project "Paths of coexistence and peace. Dialogues with schools" an initiative in partnership between the John Paul II Foundation, the Giorgio La Pira Foundation and the Regional School Office of Tuscany that will promote, implement and support the implementation of training paths aimed at peace education, interculturalism, interreligious dialogue and to foster "paths for transversal skills and orientation."

Following is the schedule for the day

9:00 a.m.: reception of participants

9:30 a.m.: Start of work.

Speakers:

- Dr. Ernesto Pellecchia, USR Director General;

- Dr. Mario Primicerio, President of La Pira Foundation;

- Dr. Andrea Bottinelli, President of the John Paul II Foundation.

10 a.m.: Illustration of the three training paths.

Profs. Carla Gonfiotti, Maria Grazia Viticchi (John Paul II Foundation) "Living and managing conflicts."

Dr. Michele Damanti (Giorgio La Pira Foundation) "The Constitution: from the constituent fathers to the present day."

Dr. Roberto Curtolo (USR Tuscany-Office III) "Aldo Moro and the history of the Italian Republic

between 1946 and 1978: responsibility, commitment and participation in building a democratic Italy democracy."

10:45 am - 11:00 am: intermission.

11:00 a.m. - 12:20 p.m.: Report.

12:20 - 1:00 pm: Debate.
