Involving!-Iraq

 Project purpose:

To support Christian minorities who have seen a deterioration in their living and security conditions due to the instability that has characterized the entire region for years. The action is structured in three main outcomes and has as its main target children, youth and women residing in the Baghdad area: improvement of children's educational services at the level of structure, equipment and training to teachers; training to teachers on human rights and theatrical performances of students; and activation of a psychological support service at Caritas Baghdad available to the local population to help them overcome trauma, a consequence of the armed conflict. 

Activities

-Improving educational services at St. Joseph's School in Baghdad by rehabilitating and equipping the children's area

- To provide expertise to teachers in the area of teaching methodologies and human rights, respecting the principles of inclusion and non-discrimination and promoting intercultural dialogue.

- Activate pathways of psychological support for local people affected by trauma at the Caritas center in Baghdad.

-Realize vocational training paths

-Activate services to accompany job placement and start-up of income-generating activities with special attention to women and young people.
