Villa Pettini, "Signs of Hope."

New project by John Paul II Foundation, Punto Famiglia Villa Pettini, Qoelet for inclusion, autonomy, family support and the local community
It will be presented on April 16 at 7 p.m. at the headquarters in Via di Monsorbi 25 (Montevarchi)

Kicking off at Villa Pettini in Montevarchi is a new project, "Signs of Hope." It will be officially presented during an evening on Wednesday, April 16, at the headquarters on Via di Monsorbi (Montevarchi, Arezzo) by the various entities that have joined forces to support the establishment of a "community of solidarity," or the sharing of values to accompany the growth and active inclusion of young people, asylum seekers and families.

At Villa Pettini, the John Paul II Foundation is involved in welcoming and integrating families of asylum seekers.
The Villa Pettini Family Point, with the group of volunteers and young volunteers of SOstare, promotes paths of formation, spirituality and welcome by actively involving young people.
The social enterprise Qoelet creates training and job integration paths for vulnerable individuals, starting with Villa Pettini's guests.

Since 2023, the three realities have launched the shared project "Brothers All - Dreaming Together" to build a charter of values based on spirituality, hospitality and integral ecology. Now, in the Jubilee year, they are jointly engaged in the operation "Signs of Hope" so that Villa Pettini will be confirmed as a generative place for welcomed guests, involved volunteers, and waiting visitors.

The goals of joining forces among these realities are many: to accompany the growth of young people "for and with others," to foster social and labor inclusion, to promote vocational training paths, and to offer educational and recreational services and support activities for parents and children of asylum seeker families, with special attention to children.

Beneficiaries of the new project are 50 young people between the ages of 18 and 35 involved in training and education for conscious citizenship, 10 asylum seekers and refugees who will experience opportunities for integration, social inclusion and work autonomy, 20 households who will be given support, but also 200 people from the local community who will be able to access events, services and cultural initiatives.

Therefore, the John Paul II Foundation also responds in this project to the goal of integrating its activities spread in Italy and abroad with specific network collaborations. So that "hope" is not an act of optimism, but a concrete goal.
