Thanks to Fondazione Migrantes, in recent years the Valdarno Aretino area has had 3 free migrant counters of psychological support, social-work support and legal counseling. These, have helped about 450 foreigners who had difficulty accessing public services become a unifying element between foreign communities and public agencies.

As of September 2023 and given the success of the Valdarno counters, the Municipality of Terranuova Bracciolini with Funding from the European Union, has created a new counter that in addition to psychological support services and legal counseling, provides Socio-occupational Support, Housing Support and Support in Language Mediation in Arabic, English, Spanish and French.
