The Villa Pettini table: a community that welcomes and includes-Italy

Project purpose:

-Reinforcing the social integration of people living in marginalized conditions through the implementation of housing support services and employment guidance aimed at fostering active inclusion policies.

-Guarantee people in economic difficulty in the territories of Valdarno Aretino and Rignano the right to housing and support in their job search through the implementation of the network of realities that cooperate in the provision of social inclusion services, the structuring of an innovative working model between public and private entities, and the raising of awareness throughout the community.

Activities:

-Activation of the counter and taking in reported individuals in housing difficulties

-Restrengthening the intervention on the host community in order to create a more inclusive environment.

-Restrengthening the employment guidance desk.

-Matching between area companies and beneficiaries of the job guidance desk.

-Activated a business mentoring service.

-Realization of operational coordination aimed at strengthening the network of entities involved and identifying new ones.

-Realization of an information campaign in the area, organized by the youth with innovative communication methods and targeting citizens and businesses in the area.

-Realization of project promotion and community outreach events.
